Escambia County and the Florida Department of Transportation are hosting a workshop for small and disadvantaged business enterprises on Friday, April 15 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. SBE’s and DBE’s are encouraged to attend to learn about participating in the Pensacola Bay Bridge Project and other opportunities for doing business with Escambia County and FDOT:

The half-day training includes information on estimating, plan reading, equipment management, cash flow, capability statements, business plans, websites and accounts. County procurement staff, FDOT staff and support services, and representatives covering bonding and loans will be available to answer questions.
